The first night's salvation.
Glory to Jesus!
Before the Crusade we honored the
older women in the church body with a
special
service, a meal, and gifts.
Here Pastor Martin leads them in
dance and worship. He's
given them
the title "The Golden Gogo's" (The Golden Grandmas).
What a blessing!
The day before the Crusade began we traveled
through the villages meeting church members.
In the 8 weeks between my last trip and this one, the tent church in
Elandsrand
has
grown so much we had to buy another tent and attach the two - and as
Martin
tells me most of the church is new believers from the September Crusade.
A "pastor's" work is never done. Martin and I shop for juice
and treats for the Kiddies Crusade. What fun (well, sort
of....)
Posing with our hired security. I can't tell you what "rest" there
was with
them on the job. Everyone could relax and worship, we could fully focus....
The bad guys
came the first
couple nights but the security were quick to
react and word spread
through the
community...so the baddies stayed
away for the remainder of the Crusade.
I'm so thankful.
On night one the security is introduced to the
people. You should have heard the applause.
Intercession begins hours before the crusade service.
