I loaned your book, "Jesus Wept" to an
elderly friend from my church. She told
me that about 40 years ago her family
was on vacation at some lake. They
were fishing when her son fell over
board and was lost. They never
recovered his body and she closed off
her heart. She told me that she
couldn’t remember when last she had
actually cried about anything.
I lent her “Jesus Wept” and through this
book the grief that she had been
carrying for 40 years just exploded as
the Lord ministered to her.
May this encourage you to get
writing again – We need another book!

I have just read your Travel Journal on
the Website and I can't think of a word
that would describe the joy in my heart
knowing how much Jesus loves us and how
much He wants what is good and holy and
right and honourable and and and for
each and everyone one of us. Thank you

news about my late uncle. Mom actually
popped in today, and I had it ready on
the computer for her to read. She was
touched, and it helped us both.

I wanted to write and thank Marchiano
Ministries for their gracious prayers of
encouragement, healing and support. All
of you have truly been a blessing my
life and the life of my family and
friends as I have shared the prayers
with them. Most recently I submitted a
request for a friend. I received the
most beautiful prayer of life and
healing for her. I got in touch with my
friend and read the prayer to her over
the phone. She was more than blessed
and excited to hear it.

My father was dying a few weeks before
Matthew was being released. He was
not comfortable with life ending
although he had always been in church.
We found Matthew and dad love seeing
Jesus walked out through your portrayal
of love and kindness. When he finished
the videos he was on a ventilator,
and shortly after he went home with a
sparkle in his eyes. God used Matthew
to tell my dad he would be in heaven
with Jesus soon. Praise God for your
ministry.

I wanted to share an experience with
you. In Meknes,
Morocco, I met up with a hotel desk
clerk, providing him with a New
Testament and a copy of "Matthew", some
of which was filmed in the horse
stables near to where he lives. I
thought that you might be interested to
know that "Matthew" has kind of gone
full circle to now reaching a Muslim
from one of your "Matthew" locations for
the Lord Jesus.

Just a note to thank you for your
obedience in sharing your story in "In
The Footsteps of Jesus" as I read this I
experienced a greater impartation of
love for HIM and as a result I have been
able to see others in a softer way. The
prayer you shared about asking Him to
change my heart was just what I needed
to ask and of course the timing of it
was the Lord's. Bless you Bruce in your

WOW!!! I just finished reading (and
taking several pages of notes on) The
Character of a Man.
I've read a lot of Christian books in my
37 years since I was born again and I've
never read anything this spiritually
powerful! Through a series of events I
won't go into, I'd become lukewarm. But
this --- this changed me. The Holy
Spirit spoke so much to me the whole
time wooing me back into my Father's
arms. Glory to Jesus!!! God bless

I love being
"part" of a ministry that is indeed
doing what Jesus asked. Today, at Bible
study, a girl came who has "been a
Christian" for a few years. Today when
she came, she was shining. I had given
her Matthew, and the cassettes of
"In the Footsteps". She was so on fire
and asked SO many questions...Why didn't
I know this before? Why don't all
Christians want to KNOW Jesus like this,
etc... Bruce, I hope you know how much
we, and Jesus, appreciate all you are
doing.

Bruce -- I
met you when you spoke at XXXXX. Your
stories about your work in South Africa
touched me so much that I made a
decision that I would pursue foreign
mission trips myself. Since I've been
through South and Central
America. Through my church I've
worked at orphanages and my last trip
was with a medical team.
Words cannot describe the valuable
treasures that God deposited in my heart
through these trips and from the people
I've served. There was very little that
I could actually do, but I
learned something that I know God longs
for His people to understand: that a
flood starts with one drop of water --
one person who "just goes." I
can't change the world but I could take
one life and make it better. Just
think what God could accomplish
if "buckets full of His people" would
just go.
Bruce, I am
one who was never able to have
children. I am forty nine, single, and
always wanted children. Bruce, through
the orphanages God gave me the child I
always wanted. There was a young
mother who was having her fourth child
that would have to be given up for
adoption. Even though I was older,
still single and had limited money, God
arranged that she would give the
child to me to adopt at birth. He is a
gorgeous boy. The parents were drug
users and so he almost did not make it.
He has had many physical problems. But
he has turned four years old and he is
healthy as a horse now. He has an
infectious laugh and a smile. God even
arranged that our eyes would match and
so most people think he is mine.
I guess you are wondering why I am
telling you these things. I guess I
want to share with you the rewards of
the seed planted in my life from your
mission stories that spilled over to my
mission adventures, that spilled over to
fertilize the soil for God to fulfill a
lifetime dream for me to be a mother.
The next time you experience an awesome
African sunset that I remember you
describing just think of me and my
son. May God's blessings and anointing
be upon your life and ministry.
