Bruce,
I am a member of the group, "In His Name". I was so
touched by your portrayal of Jesus in the "Matthew"
videos. I was touched even more by your
audio book of "In the Footsteps of Jesus".
Hearing how the Holy Spirit led you to feel what
Jesus felt while you were portraying Him was
inspiring to me. This was one of the first
times I had ever thought about asking Him to let me
feel what He feels for other people when I am
writing a song. I was also inspired by the words of
one of your teachers who said to approach each
person as if you are desperately in love with them.
That truly does reflect the heart of Jesus.
Your testimony has shown me a side of Jesus I never
knew! I tell everyone that they must listen to
the audio tapes of "In the Footsteps of Jesus." I
feel like I really got to know Jesus through
this. I thank God that you were willing to be His
vessel to carry a message that has had such an
impact on my life.

My name is Carol and I have attended a few of
Bruce's meetings. I would like to thank Bruce for a
change that he sparked in my life...
I attended a seminar for singles that he held.
Such things are not my "cup of tea," but a friend
invited me to join her that Saturday morning.
Boy, o boy, did Bruce's words change my life.
First, may I say that back then I knew the Lord, but
He was not my passion. I have never been married and
all my relationships were just a mess. That
Saturday morning when Bruce started speaking--WOW!!
I couldn't stop making notes and writing down the
quotes!! Quotes like Ps 112:" In my presence is
fullness of joy", and "Pray for what you want, work
toward what you want, but eat what God has put on
your plate today" etc... I went home and wrote these
quotes on my bathroom mirror. I read all of them day
after day when I looked in the mirror... and the
Holy Spirit started working in me.
Today I am proud to say that I am once again a
committed Christian that gives all honor & praise to
the Lord that He sent Bruce on my way that day.
Bruce sparked thinking in me that brought me back to
Jesus!!
Thank you for the awesome work you do for the Lord
in this world!! May He bless you in abundance.

Jesus Wept came at the right time in my life.
My life was spared from brain surgery a year ago and
I am going through a very painful divorce. Every day
I need Jesus to remind me He is there.

Dear Sharon,
I wanted to let Bruce know that I had the
opportunity to watch via webcam from Iraq, Captain
XXXXX open his package containing Bruce's audio cds,
book, and movie. He was very excited about it
all, and I pray that those items will be used to
reveal the Father's heart!

Dear Bruce,
You were speaking at my church recently and
I don't know if you will remember the young
man that had disappeared from his family and
was only reunited with them shortly before
you came. If you remember he was very
much "on the edge." After you spoke
that morning you prayed for him that he
would "open his heart and allow God to give
him the good that He desired for his life."
Well, his Mother phoned yesterday and said
that he has done a complete turn around.
His life and heart are completely changed.
She was absolutely elated. Glory to
Jesus!

What a blessing Bruce's ministry is! I have been
blessed to watch "Matthew" over and over, and I use
the "In Footsteps of Jesus" as a personal
devotional. Anytime I feel low I can open to any
page and the love of Jesus just springs out at me.

Great portrayal of Jesus! It was your movie that
brought me to faith in Jesus. I was not convicted
by the end of the movie, after Jesus gives the Great
Commission to his disciples. As he is walking away
turning back to call them I "knew" He was calling
me. The rest is history. Here I am six
years later madly in love with Jesus, and I have you
to thank for your part in it. I continue to
pray for you and your ministry every day, and hope
to support you financially in the near future.

Dear Bruce,
I guess this is not a very dramatic testimony; but, a lot of people like me
live in 'arid' places; it reminds me of the deer in Psalms seeking water in
dry places. So often your reminder to, 'keep your eyes fixed on Jesus'
comes into mind. A lot of us folks out here are hanging onto words
like that for dear life. So thank you for showing Jesus to us and
always pointing us to Him through your writing, web site... We are like

Dear Bruce,
I want to once again express my thanks and praise to
God for your help in making our first youth rally a
smashing success. We had well over 500 people
in attendance and close to 200 youth and adults that
came for the altar call. Praise God for giving
you the strength to spread His word and us the

Hello Bruce,
I already wrote my testimony, how "Matthew" changed my life.
Now I have to write again because I couldn't be silent about
it to other people and it is now touching so many
hearts. My husband is a pastor and now his preaching has
become so powerful. The love of Jesus is running out of his
face... I can't believe what is happening to him and now the
people in the congregation through him!

I'm from Germany and at first, I have to tell you that I
don't speak English very well...so I might make some
mistakes ;)
A good friend
from me had bought your book "In the Footsteps of Jesus" and
he was very very enthusiasted from your book, so he decided
to buy the movie too ("The Gospel According to Matthew").
And like he has expected, the movie was very good too. This
friend told me that I HAVE to watch this movie! and I said,
ok.
After watching
the film, I was enthusiasted too!! This is the only
"Jesus-movie" where Jesus is filled with love, I was never
agree with the fact that Jesus is sad all the time in all
the other movies....so I'm very happy that somebody had
found the true face! of Jesus!!!!
I hope you
would make another film like this, because the people of the
world HAVE to see, how Jesus is in the reality! he is filled
with love and wants us to take his offer to be someday in
heaven!!
My question
is: when do you come to visit us in Germany? ;) ;)

Dear Bruce,
Friday afternoon I read your latest
Travel Journal entry and I want to thank you for the way you always challenge us
to a closer walk with Jesus. Although I knew I needed to, I had not yet spent
time at His feet asking Him about 2005 which will be a critical year for me.
Upon reading your travel journal I immediately "made an appointment" with Daddy
for Saturday. He met me on my back porch and we had a wonderful time together.
He gave me a word from 1 Thessalonians for 2005 and the assurance that He is
working out the details of my hopes and missionary vision. I'm so glad that I
know the Detail-Keeper!!! Thank you
