movie "Matthew" touched my grandson's life
deeply as he had many problems. He never
had a man in his life so he looks up to you
because through your movie and books you
helped open his heart to Jesus's great love
for him. Before Jesus saved him he was
considering suicide but now he is saved.
You helped him meet the REAL Jesus and we

Hello Bruce! Your portrayal of Jesus saved
my husband & I from a life of
religious fanaticism based on works and fear
of an angry, vengeful God. I'd
always viewed Him as a celestial tyrant,
bent on burning me in Hell. Your
portrayal in Matthew was my first touching
glimpse at a Grace oriented Jesus.
Thank you a thousand times over. I weep
each time I watch 'Matthew' and wish you the
very best with 'John'. I am now free in
Jesus. I've found a God who says, "I Am

I am so blessed by your commitment to
integrity. I know the Lord is pleased and
wants you to KNOW that your labor in Him and
for Him, is not in vain. When I was praying
about the "JOHN" finances lately, the Lord
led me to pray from Isaiah 60:5 that you
would "see and be radiant and your hearts
thrill and tremble with joy at the
glorious deliverance, because the abundant
wealth of the sea shall be turned to you;
unto you shall nations come with their
treasures." I was reminded about the time
Peter went fishing and got the coin to pay
the tax...The Lord wants this project to
come to completion, even more than you or us
out here do, so never get disheartened. In
Daniel 7:25 scripture says that satan speaks
words against the Most High and thinks to
wear out the saints... In intercession I
am continually holding up your arms in
prayer.

Dear Bruce
At a women's retreat I used one of your
prints (Jesus embracing the blind man) to
give a visual as I spoke. One woman who had
much brokenness came to me after saying, "I
don't know the Lord you talked about and I
see in this picture... but I want to."
We prayed and cried together. I gave her
the picture. She took it home and reports
that it is on her dresser and her husband is
"disturbed" by it. The Lord is going to
save this man. Thank you.

Beloved Brother Bruce,
... This young woman slipped into a deep
depression and became suicidal. During that
time the Holy Spirit used two things to bring
her to Jesus:
Jesus Wept
and
In the Footsteps
of Jesus. They brought her to the
Lord. Recently she was again struggling. She
listened to your CD,
The Bigness of
God. It literally kept her
alive... I am a teacher at a college and every
quarter the Lord brings students like her to me
who need Him. I give them your books.

CHARACTER OF A MAN... and oh man! Every man on
the planet should have a copy... (there'd be a
lot more happy women!). As you wrote it was
your hope, it is a must read for EVERYONE, man,

Also, through your web site and what I read
about you, you have played a role in my journey
of getting closer to the HEART OF JESUS. I find
it all inspiring, exciting, and ever so helpful
being one more pilgrim trying to make progress

has been much needed sustenance and has given me
a greater understanding of The Heart Of GOD.

weekly routines to download your website. Your
heart and passion for Jesus touches a chord
deeply inside me. It's so seldom that you
encounter spiritual leaders who are so focused

much God has greatly used your works to help me
gain back the ability to "SEE JESUS" again.
Life, Pain and many hardships had blinded my
eyes.

hi bruce,
its now 1:03 am and i just wanted to say thank
you for helping me and so many others. in 2002 i
started in the footsteps of jesus. it was a very
difficult time for me because i was 23 years old
and had my life completely turned upside down. i
had just split with my fiancé, moved to a new
city, and was living in a concrete basement with
2 barred windows that i rented from a friend for
225 dollars a month because i had very little
cash. i worked until midnite every nite and
would rush home and jump into bed to read your
book. i shortly after purchased an niv bible so
I could follow the scriptures that you talked
about. bruce i want you to know how much that
book helped me then and continues to help me
now. i can't thank you enough. if you ever have
a day where you think it might not be worth it
or to just throw in the towel, remember this guy
from winnipeg who rolled out of bed at 1:03 am
because he couldn't wait to say thank
you. That’s how important your work is. i pray
for you bruce. (one of the souls you helped
along the way)

I wanted to thank you so much. Your movie has
made such an impact in my life as have the books
that followed. I am so glad. Unfortunately
I went down the wrong track and had to serve
time in Federal Prison but that brought me
closer to God. Now that I am home I am letting
that closeness make a difference. You are one of

not told of how He has made a difference in your

Just wanted to let you know that the Matthew
videos have struck again! We have been sharing
Jesus with two young ladies (ages 15 and 16) and
were using the Matthew videos to illustrate some
of the truths we were studying. The Jesus you
portrayed showed one of the girls something she
hadn't realized before...namely that Jesus loves
her and is so desperate for her to give her life
over to Him. I wanted you to know that she gave
her life to Jesus. You will meet her in
heaven. Thanks for all you do, and we are
praying for the success of the Book of John
movie!

I am a member of a Bible study group. We are
viewing sections of "Matthew" each week and
reading through "Footsteps." I just want Bruce
to know how much the film and his book have
affected all of us. His testimony has touched
our hearts. Like many, I have never thought of
Jesus as so "joyous" as Bruce portrayed
him...but it just makes so much sense that he
was! I am so touched!
There are approximately 40 men and about 50
women. We are all retired and live in the
California desert in the winter. Each spring we
return to our homes across the US and Canada, so
not only is Bruce touching us with this work,
but also the friends and family we will see over
the summer in our various homes.

I just want to let you know what a blessing the
"Matthew" videos were to my life. It was a
Jesus I had never known yet somehow knew really
existed. Growing up Catholic and having
lost my father who wasn't very loving I had a
warped sense of who God was. I thought he
was a Father who stood only to correct us and
punish us. Your portrayal opened my eyes
to a loving and compassionate Savior
who corrected and disciplined out of pure love
and desire to see His children attain the
freedom and love He offered. My faith and
devotion to our Lord has grown tremendously as a
result. Today I am dwelling in deeper
levels of His love. Keep shining Bruce!

youth services here in XXXX and they were
amazing. I enjoy when you speak it makes me cry

Dear Bruce,
I just want to tell you that you have challenged
me in my Christian walk more than any one that I
have encountered out side of my own father. I
gave my life to the Lord when I was 13 years
old. I have always had a close walk with Jesus.
I have been preaching for decades and have fruit
in heaven. But after all of these years I
realize that I have not grasped all that He has
for me. Now I am desperate for Him.
Thanks for your life, and your movie, and your
books, and your walk with Jesus, and thank you

that event. God speaking through you moved a
lot of people. But, I am really writing to tell

I was deeply moved. I do not know how many

gave my heart to Jesus on my 48th birthday
nearly 4 years ago but I was still drowning in
my past without any feeling of our Savior when I
read your interview in Enhance. Today 22 Jan I'm
sitting listening to your tapes off your
website. I've just finished reading 'In the
footsteps of Jesus.' Jesus threw me a rope
through you and lifted me up out of the mud. Now
Jesus is my every thought. Jesus is my every
prayer. Jesus is my heartache, to get closer to

Greetings! I read your book last year Bruce-
2005. I came to discover the true identity of
Jesus. You wrote that people everywhere have
"fallen in love with Jesus" again or for 1st
time - well, it happened to me - praise Him!
