The Encounter
In this, Bruce Marchiano’s latest film, five strangers find themselves in a deserted roadside diner.
A heartbroken, single woman (played by CCM artist Jaci Velazquez), a couple on the verge of divorce, a teenage girl who’s been abused… come face to face with a mysterious diner owner (Bruce Marchiano), who somehow knows their secrets and offers freedom from their pain and confusion – if only they would trust “Him.” It is a miraculous Encounter that will leave them changed forever.
As in Matthew, Bruce again offers us a Jesus whose joy is boundless, whose heart weeps for our pain – whose every word, glance and touch whispers, “I love you so much…”
