Freedom in Jesus'
Name Crusade
Oukasie Township,
South Africa
April 23 - 27, 2008
We are thrilled to
declare that the Lord has given us an exciting theme and focus for
our upcoming South African Crusade: Freedom in Jesus' Name. Glory
to the Name of Jesus!
Obviously, with
South Africa's political history, freedom is a very big word to the
people, and the crusade dates coincide with the national holiday,
Freedom Day, a celebration of freedom from the oppressions of
apartheid.
As we all know,
man can enjoy many human freedoms, but ultimately we are all
oppressed and enslaved of spirit and soul - without Jesus. And
practically speaking, in South Africa, freedom has meant little to
the vast majority of people whose lives remain virtually unchanged
from the days of oppression, the government having made good on very
few of its 1994 election promises.
All to say, the
people have firsthand knowledge of the failures of human freedom -
opening the door of their hearts to the message of true, eternal
freedom - in Jesus' wondrous Name!

hello my
precious brother. i have recently learned that the crusade is
scheduled the weekend of FREEDOM DAY in SA. this will be good
because it gives a day of rest following the crusade and you and
mama moruti won't have to rush back to work and kids to school. but
it gives me a thought, my brother - that the theme of the crusade
mix with freedom day. something like FREEDOM IN JESUS CRUSADE. or
JESUS SETS YOU FREE CRUSADE.
does this ring
in your spirit, moruti? as always, i am not saying this is what i
want - i am only submitting the thought to you, my brother, if this
be the lord's lead. i love you, brother!

Hello my
precious brother , I love you my brother . We are counting weeks
and we will be standing together , it is so wonderful to see what
the Lord is doing in our lives, souls coming to JESUS, lives being
transformed in JESUS' NAME. Let us choose this theme for the April
Crusade: FREEDOM IN JESUS NAME
My
precious brother I fully agree that the Lord is freeing us from
all things that keep us apart from him .What a theme, let us go for
it and pray that the Lord should free the nation, the leaders from
things that are trying to
undermine His righteousness and Truth in South Africa. We always
believe that true freedom comes from JESUS and so this we will
proclaim.
HE IS THE WAY, THE
TRUTH AND THE LIFE.
I love my precious
brother.
Martin
And so we all move
forward - Freedom in Jesus' Name. It is a truth that will be
proclaimed on posters all throughout the villages and district, and
as the kiddies, teens, and adults jam the buses to come to the
crusade and hear to the Word of God, it will be proclaimed at each
and every service unto the salvation of their precious souls.
Join us with your
support, won't you? Please consider it - there are literally
eternal lives in the balance - precious, precious South African
lives. What price can any of us possibly put on that?
And so we look forward to
hearing from you in any amount of support - all unto souls. Glory
to Jesus! Thank you!

Report on the Work in South Africa, February 2008
Our Next Crusade is Scheduled April 23 - 27!
Glory to Jesus! As we gear up for
our series of 2008 crusades and outreaches to the villages and
townships of the NorthWest Province, we have just received the
following report on the ongoing work from our South African partner,
Pastor Martin.
In a nutshell, Pastor Martin reports
that the churches are filled with new believers from the crusades,
most especially young people, which can only be attributed to a
sovereign work of God. He also speaks of the priority of prayer and
intimacy with God, and is in fact declaring a month of fasting and
prayer among the churches we've planted. It is all so exciting!
Thank you to you who give to this
South African work that is both life and community changing. Our
next crusade is just around the corner so we invite you to
participate in support (you'll find a button at the end of Martin's
report that will take you to the support page if you so wish).
Thank you! Here comes Pastor ("Moruti") Martin!

My precious
brother
Thank you for
the sms and the encouragement. To be honest with you my precious
brother I am still challenged by my Mother's passing in December, I
believe that the Lord will continue healing our hearts. Let us
continue to pray, I know that we serve the Almighty Full of
Compassion.
Below I have
drafted some few lines I hope you will be blessed as you read. I
love you Moruti, we stand together committed and continuing to serve
Jesus and this precious flock.
THE PLANTING
OF CHURCHES
Moruti above
all the challenges that we have encountered, souls are being saved,
we are experiencing an increase in numbers of new believers who are
coming to the churches mostly from the crusade, and every service
there are salvations. It is amazing that every church reports that
70% of the people coming are teenagers. Moruti I know we have talked
about this phenomenon but still it amazes. I know the South African
young people thinking and you will not find them in church but
playing football and in the streets, but we see them flocking to the
churches. What I see mostly in the work, the hearts of teenagers
being opened to receive the Lord. My precious brother I truly
believe that we are preparing the future generation of South African
believers, I am so humbled. And there is great unity among the
leadership my brother, we thank the Lord about the unity that is
found in our leadership.
THE
YEAR 2008
FRESH
START. I continue to meditate upon the Word that the Lord gave
us on the last day of the December Crusade, of fresh beginning.
With this in mind we are getting highly involved and saturated in
the area of prayer and fasting. I believe that the Spirit of the
Lord is healing us from all the hurts that are standing against the
fulfillment of his will in our lives, "leaving behind the former
things, forgetting what is behind and pressing forward." We
continue to pray and seek after the Lord's plan in our lives.
INCREASED
COMMUNION WITH THE LORD
Among the
churches and leadership we have never felt such a beautiful sense of
prayer like is happening so far in this year 2008. I am thankful of
what that the Lord is doing in our lives, this is the year of
becoming more and more closer to the Lord, crossing over, and
beyond, our hearts seeking more of deep fellowship with the Lord. I
believe as we become more and more attached to the Lord his purpose
in our lives will be seen.
FEBRUARY 2008
We are engaged
in Fasting and Prayer for the month of FEBRUARY, Moruti I believe
that we have to start with PRAYER for the year 2008. We are praying
for the work and I will continue to share with you as these
beautiful times of communion unfold in our lives. You know Moruti,
what we are seeing is the work is increasing almost every day, so we
are driven to expand in the area of prayer, and as we expand in the
area of prayer we see so many things happening in our lives.
My precious
brother, In His presence there is joy forevermore. We thank the Lord
about his inspiration and blessing on our work and partnership. The
brick project is going full out Moruti and there is long line to get
into the computer school, the Bible college is full. The
photography students are also strong, I thank you for patience as we
orgaznize this photography better. I am so thankful that you
understand our Afrcan set up my brother and the limited resources we
are always working with and African challenges, you are a precious
partner.
Most of all I
am looking forward to standing together in April and you must tell
Sister Sharon the kiddies are so many she is giving us big problems,
they are coming to the Lord in numbers brother, it is so
wonderful.
Come quickly,
Moruti, I miss you. Please say thank you to the supporters, we
Africans are humbled and so encouraged when we think that there are
brothers and sisters from overeseas who care about us and love us.
I am humbled brother. I love you.
