How wonderfully the Lord is using you and
'Matthew'! I had been so far from the Lord
for the last four years, and began watching
it over and over with my xx year old mother.
I really needed to reconnect with Jesus!
Your portrayal of a loving, smiling Lord
brought me back to the Jesus I had let slip
away! I bought 'Footsteps' and loved the
descriptions of the way the Spirit moved in
you in the movie! Then I bought 'Character'
and read it twice! I thank the Lord for
your obedient life devoted to Him. By the
way, you have a lovely smile! Full of JOY!

One of these times I'm gonna sit down and

something! First heard you on Sid Roth's
Messianic Vision radio and then It's
Supernatural TV. Well..now you've gone and
done it...Jesus isn't this remote Jesus
anymore. Now He's becoming so much more
real...served Him as best I knew all my
life...but wow..YOUR ministry has changed
things RADICALLY

I've just been introduced to "Matthew" and
the book, In the Footsteps of Jesus and I
keep watching that film over and over and
re-reading the book. It's what I needed so
much: to re-discover Jesus as a loving,
healing real man. I'm so grateful! Thanks a
million for the incredibly joyous, loving
Jesus portrayed in "Matthew".

I came to Christ a few years ago.. lived a
life without God for 32 years, I grew up in
North Hollywood in the "entertainment"
industry... nuff said... I ended up with a
copy of the movie you stared in as Jesus the
Book of Matthew... and it was great... so
glad they made a word for word version of
that book.

The Matthew film made Jesus more real and
personal to me. You are more like Jesus than
any other actor I have ever seen portraying
Him. I didn't know who you were at the time
all I knew is that whoever was playing Jesus
was annointed. Your smile and your
penetrating eyes. The last scene where you
turn around and motion with your hand to
come follow you. That was awesome. How could
I not want to follow Jesus after that. And
Jesus is so much more. It is hard to
imagine. Thanks so much for being obedient
to Christ.

Dear Bruce
I am so amazed by what the Lord is doing.
Someone bought me a copy of In the
Footsteps of Jesus in 2000 when I was
still a student. I read the first few
chapters and my book, together with some of
my belongings got lost. About two years ago
I saw the book and bought it remembering
that I never got to finish it. This year
sometime I started reading this book again,
and it came at a season in my life when I
really needed it. The Lord is good, I am at
a stage in my life where I fully understand
the He has great plans for my life and that
He is just preparing me for the journey.
I am writing from South Africa in Pretoria,
it’s a Saturday morning, the only day I get
to sleep in and enjoy reading in bed, I woke
up and grabbed my book...or rather your
book. Each time I read this book I would ask
myself where is Bruce now, I wonder what the
Lord is doing with his life now. For days I
planned to check you on the internet but
this morning when I finished reading “on a
mission of redemptive love,” the Lord
nudged me to check you on the internet and
what I found is just amazing.
Each time I thought of where you could be
and what you could be doing I never imagined
you preaching the gospel in my hometown. My
grandmother lives in Mothotlung which is
less 7kms to Damonsville and she lived in
Oukasie before. I am in Pretoria and I go
home so often, so if there is anything that
I can do to assist the work you are doing
let me know and it will be a please for me
to help.
The Lord has been good to me, and your book
has just been one of those reminders of how
simple this message of the cross is. There
is a paragraph which has become the
description of what the Lord is doing in my
own life at the moment, it was a fax from
one of your friends "my own life is being
broken down to bare basics at the moment,
holding on to salvation; no special
blessings or even promise just the knowledge
of being his child, having faith in God's
character, that he is faithful, gracious,
just, slow to anger, abounding in love..."
I really thank God for letting you walk in
His footsteps and I know its over a decade
since this was done. Reading this book has
been refreshing and has brought Christ even
closer to my heart.

Hey just wanted to encourage you about your
Matthew DVD s, I am a youth leader and we
watched the whole set of films during our
Sunday morning sessions, it brought up all
kinds of questions from the kids and really
helped me explain the man Jesus and how fab
it is to have him in your life and how to
live once you have him.

My precious MM prayer team,
I want to update you, because you have
been one of two most major encouragements to
my family. I would share your prayers with
them and they were amazed that people who
didn't even know them would pray for them
with such intensity and faith. It truly
"kept them afloat" (you need to know how
